Located on Austenwood Lane on the border between Chalfont St. Peter and Gerrards Cross, The Three Pigeons is a family friendly venue that bridges the gap between pub and restaurant.
While still catering for the casual drinking crowd, The Three Pigeons has set a remarkable standard of dining experience, with a friendly, professional, and welcoming staff, and a relaxed atmosphere coupled with an extensive wine list all complimenting the excellence of the cuisine. The menu is peppered with traditional classics as well as some examples of contemporary British cooking.
The produce is locally sourced, and changes to reflect the best seasonal ingredients. Pork is purchased from Micklefield Hall in Hertfordshire, and features prominently on the menu, with the slow roast pork belly a stand out favourite, and the pork and sage rillettes a fantastic recent introduction. Fish dishes are also prevalent, and cooked to an extremely high standard, with a variety of fish specials on offer on Friday and Saturday dinner menus. Throughout the week, excluding the weekend, the kitchen runs a ten pound two-course menu which represents great value for the dishes on offer, and changes daily, making it an ideal lunch date for business or pleasure.
